Morocco unveils hydrogen vehicle prototype HUV

Moroccan entrepreneurs have unveiled a hydrogen vehicle prototype manufactured in Morocco. These projects mark a significant achievement for the country, reinforcing the reputation of products bearing the "Made In Morocco" label, as stated by King Mohammed VI.

During the presentation, the King examined the model from "Neo Motors," a car company owned by Moroccan capital, and the hydrogen vehicle prototype created by NamX, known as the Hydrogen Utility Vehicle (HUV).

Manufacturers have designed the HUV model with a central hydrogen tank and six removable capsules, allowing for an extended driving range and quick hydrogen refueling in just a few minutes. 

On the occasion of the ceremony, King Mohammed VI bestowed the Wissam Al Kafaa Al Fikria Award upon Nassim Belkhayat and Annajah. NamX's patented technology comprises a fixed hydrogen tank and six replaceable capsules.

With a planned release in 2025, NamX is meeting the growing demand for hydrogen and hybrid vehicles in line with the global shift towards clean energy sources and decarbonization."
